About Swami Shivananda

Swami Shivananda, affectionately known as Shivaji, is an adept meditation teacher with over 30 years of experience in helping people reach their spiritual potential.

Swami Shivananda has studied under and been initiated by several spiritual masters. In November 2012 he was initiated as a swami in Ganeshpuri, India. In late 2019 Shivaji received Gurupada and in January 2020 took initiation as Acharya into the Heart of Consciousness lineage.

In addition to his role as Director of the Brisbane Shakti meditation and Yoga Centre, Swami Shivananda, under his birth name Michael Wing is a well known psychic and energy healer who for the last 25 years has brought comfort, clarity and direction to thousands of people.
